You're drilling way too fast and melting the saw teeth. Hold at an angle to start but move the angled drill in a circular motion so the saw tooth is only cutting on one side until you penetrate.

Tupperware and toilet parts? No, no - of course it is the latest and greatest high-tech gear the Galactic Empire has to offer...only the best for Stormtroopers and Sandtroopers. Otherwise, a fantastic build and great demonstration.

Obviously this is the wrong way to use this tool. If you do not go at the cut at a 5 degree angle, it will never bite into the surface of the wallboard. Speed will work against you in this operation and generate enough heat to melt the tool. I like to use a pilot hole that is slightly smaller than the bit on the tool. Start out slowly until you feel it cutting into the surface and slowly increase your speed to a moderate level. If the tool stalls, reverse and restart forward until hole is through the material. I have used this tool with a ratchet successfully but a properly used drill is the better method.
